NCP 2007 Conference Background

On 15 August 2007 the 2010 National Communication Partnership (NCP) will hold its second annual conference. At the conference, communicators from the African continent have been invited to discuss how best to take advantage of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ to positively project Africa to the world, to take advantage of the opportunity to build African solidarity and to foster a climate that contributes to African growth and development.

African broadcaster for 2010 NCP

One of Africa’s foremost broadcasters is coming to South Africa. He will address the second National Communication Partnership Conference which will be held in Johannesburg on August 15.

He is Ben Egbuna, president of the African Union of Broadcasting and Director-General of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria. He will be talking about the communication opportunity the 2010 FIFA World Cup creates for Africa.
