Statement: State Security says no immediate threat to US interests in South Africa
South Africa's Ministry of State Security assures that there is no threat to U.S. facilities or interests in South Africa after law enforcement agencies investigated warnings of a possible attack by "extremists". This comes after the U.S. Diplomatic Mission in Pretoria alerted its citizens on Tuesday, 8 September, of such an attack on South African soil.
