SA internet ‘turnaround has begun’
South Africa's internet user base rose by 12.5% to 4.5-million in 2008, its fastest growth rate since 2001. And according to research firm World Wide Worx, this is only the start of a dramatic turnaround, with greater competition and more widely available broadband set to open the way for new, more cost-effective ways of doing business in SA cyberspace.
