Foozi fun on Football Fridays

2 October 2009

Johannesburg companies looking to add some fun to their Football Fridays can now rent foosball tables at special rates, delivery included – or stand a chance of getting one for free.

Advertising and branding company Foozi Gaming has come out in support of the Football Fridays initiative, launched by the country’s major 2010 Fifa World Cup™ partners in order to grow enthusiasm for football and support for the national team, Bafana Bafana.

Each week for the rest of the year, four companies in the greater Johannesburg area can win the use of a Foozi foosball table rent-free, offering them and their employees an exciting, competitive, entertaining and team building Football Friday.

To stand a chance to win, companies can enter their details on www.foozi.co.za/foozifriday.html.

A draw takes place every Wednesday, and companies will be contacted by Thursday morning if they have won. (Entering just once will put companies in the draw for the rest of the year.)

Foozi has also put together a special Football Fridays rental package for companies based in Johannesburg, offering them the use of a Foozi branded foosball tables for only R499 including delivery – less than half the normal rental price to deliver on a Friday morning and collect on Monday. Other areas will be quoted for separately.

Companies can take advantage of this offer by calling 08600 FOOZI (36694) or e-mailing rentals@foozi.co.za.

“Foozi is 100% behind this fantastic initiative, and we aim to show our support and enthusiasm in a way that builds patriotism for 2010,” says Damon Freeman, chief negotiator, marketer and overall nice guy of Foozi Gaming. “We have also put numerous Foozi specials together for marketers and advertisers aiming to tap into the mass youth market.”

The first four winners of rent-free Foozi tables, on 25 September, were FNB Payroll, Fleischman-Hillard, Thuso Design and Indigo Marketing.
