LETOYA MAKHENE

Letoya Makhene is a South African actress, singer and TV personality who is best known for starring in South Africa’s famous soap operas, “Isidingo” and “Generations”. With a Constitution that allows freedom of belief, Makhene was able to answer her calling as a sangoma.

GEMINI MAJOR

Benn Gilbert Kamoto, better known by his stage name Gemini Major, is a Malawian-born record producer and singer-songwriter. Gemini was signed to Family Tree Records, a South African independent record label. After graduating in information technology, Kamoto decided to pursue his dream of being a recording artist instead. His move to Durban, South Africa, in 2009 made it come true.

Imraan Christian is a photographer from Hangberg, Cape Town, a community riddled by gang violence, drug abuse and youth unemployment. Imraan shares with us how the Constitution and the right to freedom of expression has had his back and allows him to pursue his dream of being a photographer.
