Job Description:

• Recognised Bachelor’s Degree preferably in HR or equivalent qualification.
• 3-5 Years prior direct related HC Administrative experience.
• Strong Knowledge of LRA, BCEA, EE and skills development legislation
• Knowledge of Human Resource practices
• Knowledge of HR Management information systems
• Knowledge of recruitment processes and induction, training and development processes
• Knowledge of internship programme
• Knowledge of on-boarding process
• Knowledge of payroll input documents and benefits management


List of skills needed:

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:

  1.  Manage the end to end recruitment and on-boarding process
    • Facilitate the advertising, interviewing, selection and on boarding process.
    • Monitor and report monthly staff movement.
    • Monitor, update and report staff movement.
  2. Prepare risk and month-end Human Capital reports
    • Assist the HC Manager to identify and report human capital operational risks.
  3. Monitor compliance to HR standards, policies and procedures
    • Assisting with the implementation of all HC policies, processes and standard
    • operating procedures.
    • Track and ensure all policies are reviewed yearly as per policy standards.
  4. Identify trends, risks and recommend solutions for actioning, by analysing management information systems (MIS) reports
    • Be able to analyse data and provide information and recommendation to HC Manager on trends and risks from reports.
  5. Provide administrative support to Human Capital unit
    • Ensure completion and update of personnel files, forms and checklists.
    • To be proactive in dealing with team issues from an HC perspective (i.e. working conditions, hygiene issues).
    • Provide basic information (on an administrative and advisory level) on health and welfare and other company sponsored benefits (wellness, health and safety, counselling, motivational talks, etc.)
    • Ensure that all the financial compliance issues (leave management, payroll submissions, incoming and outgoing staff) are completed according to the monthly/as required checklist.
  6. Undertake HC work programs and projects
    • To undertake specific HC work programs, projects and research as determined by the Human Capital Manager.
  7. Provides Human Capital services to the business by assisting with performance management, training and development, amongst others.
    • Assist the Human Capital Manager with the performance management contracting, assessment and in-house training workshops.
    • Co-ordinate training and development initiative for Brand South Africa
    • Update the Training and Development tracking sheet.
