DTI TO HOST SA MINING INVESTMENT ROUNDTABLE AT THE AFRICA MINING INDABA

Members of the media are invited to attend and cover the South African Investment Roundtable that will be hosted by the Department of Trade and Industry (the dti), in collaboration with the Department of Mineral Resources (DMR) and Brand South Africa on the margins of the 25th annual Investing in the African Mining Indaba in Cape Town.

The roundtable, which will be held under the theme Invest in South African Mining, will be addressed by the Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr Rob Davies, the Minister of Mineral Resources, Mr Gwede Mantashe and the General Manager of Research at Brand South Africa, Dr Petrus de Kock

The purpose of the roundtable is to provide potential investors from targeted countries with the opportunity to interact with the South African political and business leadership in order to obtain first-hand information on the issues relating to the South African mining environment. The roundtable will be attended by potential investors from various countries including Canada, United States of America, India, Japan, China, Australia, United Kingdom and Russia.
