Country Managers

The International Marketing Council of South Africa has three country offices in the UK (London); the US (Washington); and India (Mumbai).

The objective of country offices, led by country managers, is to promote South Africa's global reputation in line with Brand South Africa and strategic national goals, as alive with possibility for trade, tourism, investment and other forms of co-operation that will benefit the country.

Country offices assist both public and private stakeholders to achieve this objective in a consistent, co-ordinated and effective manner, tailored to specific audiences.

Country managers play five key roles: communication; networking: inbound and outbound; mission development and support; brand co-ordination, and media-related counsel.

The country managers also work closely with the Department of Foreign Affairs' missions in their countries.
